This role is a permanent full-time role where you will be responsible for picking and packing orders accurately in a timely manner ensuring quality products are sent to our customers at all times. The role is perfect for a self-motivated and results-driven individual.
In this hands-on role, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Assist in the picking and packing of customer orders
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organised
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a timber picker role or similar
- An excellent approach to customer service; love to give fanatical customer service
- Proven ability to add value as a part of a diverse and dedicated team
- Current driver’s and forklift licence
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Have an aptitude to do things right the first time
- Good personal presentation
- Ability to coordinate and arrange load schedules

Key areas of responsibilities:
- Sales over the trade counter.
- Build and develop customer relationships through strong customer service and a willingness to always exceed expectations.
- Provide product support and advising customers on product solutions.
- General computer skills.
- Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch.
- Keep up to date with the latest product developments.
- Contribute to the continual improvement culture of the company.
